Installation of level sensors and telematics gateways on genset fuel tanks

More details about the project on online diesel fuel monitoring in power-generators’ tanks can be found in the case.

Purpose: monitoring of fuel filling volumes and remaining in stationary tanks, from which diesel fuel is supplied to the diesel generator.

Stationary tanks are equipped with DUT-E 2Bio fuel level sensors with CAN j1939/S6 interface and a CANUp telematics gateway next to them. DUT-E 2Bio sensors and CANUp telematics gateway are organized into a single bus for data transmission and a single power supply using S6 Technology.

Results:
1) precise fuel level and volume measurement in cisterns – automatic correction for fuel quality change.
2) Fuel underfilling by supplier was stopped.
3) Ensured uninterrupted operation of diesel generators fuel costs reduced by 25%.
