The new customer case has been published, showcasing the implementation of a fuel monitoring system to accurately track fuel consumption of the ship’s engines and generators. The solution utilizes DFM S7 fuel flow meters and MasterCAN S7 NMEA converters, which transmit fuel consumption data via the ship’s NMEA 2000 bus to the Simrad IS42J engine display for real-time monitoring.
Additionally, a satellite terminal unit sends data to the MaxSea navigation system, allowing the client’s staff to monitor fuel consumption online and generate analytical reports for any desired period.
